LO2 Be able to generate ideas for an original audio-visual promo - Challenge

The brief has informed us that Freeview wants an Ident for one of their channels. They want it to remind the audience of one of the channels that they have offered. The ident should be a feature of 2x30 seconds or 1x60. It should have a clear personality that reflects the channel, the content that is shown and the audience that it is aimed for. This can come in different forms, such as animation or live actions. 

The purpose of my ident is to present to the viewers of what programme is about to begin. Also, it will give the audience of what type of programme it is along with what the channel is about, which could include some of the elements from other channels.

For my synopsis, I would have a group of people chilling in the living room waiting for the next programme. While they are waiting, two people would go back and forth on who is better at answering the questions on the show, which will lead to them competing with each other by asking random questions in which if they get the most questions right, they would get the last slice of pizza. There would be links to the shows that are on challenge in which they would get asked a question and there will be multiple options, which will have one correct answer. Then, one of them would win and just when that person get the slice, it is shown to be eaten by someone, who doesn't know what is happening. This would then have an audio around the end of the ident which would present the programme that is about to be shown. 

The target audience for this ident would be for people aged 20-40 years old due to how this age group would have interest in shows based on knowledge. I would do this by including  I would have this appeal to both genders. This would be in the interest of people who like shows based on knowledge and for people who like competition shows. This would appeal to people who live in the UK. 

The mediums that I will be working in is live action for my ident. 

For my ident, I will be creating a 1x 60 second one. I will be creating an ident which would be based on the time of the day, which is in the evening.
