A legal issue is something that occurs that has legal implications and may need the help of a lawyer to sort it out.

Moral issues are an issue of concern that can potentially help or harm someone.

Ethical issues occur when a given decision, scenario, or activity creates a conflict with a society's moral principles. 

The initial legal issue - one legal issue that I can think of is copyright. This is when someone uses content or property that is not originally owned by them. People would need to get permission to use someone's material if it has been copyrighted

Initial moral issues - One moral issue would be dishonesty, in which false information can be presented, misleading the audience/ For my ident. I will ensure that any information that is presented to the audience is accurate.

Initial Ethical issues - One issue that fits into this category would be Privacy, in which someone's personal information could get leaked. For my ident, I will ensure that it is appropriate and that there is no unwanted information put out for everyone to know. 

The company that regulates TV, is OFCOM. They make sure that people get the best from their broadband, home phone, and mobile service and also make sure that people enjoy what they watch on tv and what they listen to on the radio. 

From the broadcasting codes, three aspects that may impact on my ident is 

Harm and offence – this may offend people who can’t afford a lot of money

Fairness – broadcasters must avoid unjust or unfair treatment of individuals or organisations. I must ensure that the representatives in the ident is treated fairly. This would be shown near the end when they laugh about Videira not being able to answer the question completely.

Privacy – any infringement of privacy in programmes, or in connection with obtaining material included in the programme, must be warranted. I will ensure that all the representatives give consent to being included in the ident before being distributed to its audience.

Honesty

I will ensure that the music that I use is copyright free

I will choose the music that would be suitable

I will make sure that I comment on the use of copyright material

Transparency

I will make sure that it is clear on what channel my ident is based on

I will research some of the programs on the channel and what the main elements of the programs are

I will create an ident that represents the type of shows that are presented on Challenge

During the editing process, I will make sure to include an image of the logo, such as images from the show

Privacy

I will not reveal who gave audience feedback

I will make sure to ask a couple of people to give some feedback

I will let people giving me audience feedback now that they won’t be mentioned at all

When I make changes to improve my Ident, I will not reveal who gave me feedback based on my work

Post production process report

At this stage of production, I was ready to start editing my Ident. As I have used Final Cut Pro to edit media products in the past, I was adamant that this was an appropriate editing software to use. I had all my footage that I filmed for my Ident inserted into the Mac that I was using with an SD card and I imported every shot that I had filmed onto the software. When I had done this, I looked at all the footage that I had and saw that I had numerous footage. The first thing that I did was make a rushes video, in which I placed all the unedited footage onto the timeline and save it as one video. Then, I shared it as a master file and uploaded it on YouTube as my rushes video. Then, I made a table for the rushes log, which helped me structure out all the footage that I had, how long each one was and which one I would want to keep and which ones that I felt were not useful.
